The situation’s so hard, because he’s not a jerk, I don’t know, I think he’s just absolutely confused, or is under the impression that a close relationship with a girl HAS to be a romantic one. 

I’ve told him no a dozen times since he brought it up originally, and i have to admit there was some waffling and surprise and alarm the first time he asked me. But since then I’ve been a stalwart ‘I’m your friend’, every time he brings it up, but I don’t think he’ll stop asking until my answer fits into how he thinks the world works. 

I’m just tired of this crap hanging over our heads, and it doesn’t help that a mutual friend keeps bringing our relationship up to him and poking it and saying things like ‘gypped’ and ‘you guys are in a relationship already, just without the benefits’. 

I hope things get better soon too :) thank you <3
